I’ll take time to write this letter; There’s some things I’d like to say.
I’ll place it in an envelope and send it on its way.
I will sadly, self-address it, to read on its return,
and hopefully, its message will finally, help me learn.
“Dear Fool!” -- “This is a letter that I am sending you,
to try to open up your eyes in all the things you do.”
“I know, you think you’re ‘Special’ and you got just 'What it Takes'
but, I’m sending you this message that you made some dumb mistakes!”
“You never were too honest with your cheating and your lies.
Now, She is blue because of you and tears flow from her eyes!”
“You know, She really loves you, despite your lying ways,
but someday, she'll turn away and a ‘Bitter Price’ you’ll pay!”
“So, take this as a warning that you better ‘Wise Up’ soon
and ask for her forgiveness and ‘Really Change Your Tune!”
“What if she decides to leave you, to find somebody new?
Someone to share her feelings, who's more considerate than you."
“You tend to be ‘Self-Centered’; Yes--That; You’ve always been!
When you read this little letter, I hope the message will ‘Sink In!”

Very nice I like this a lot. Sometimes when we do something stupid we have to write it down so that we do not forget what we have done and to remind ourselves ehat we have done. It appears as though the person's consience was eating away at them and scolding them. Very good write. I enjoyed it

This was really good. I enjoyed reading it. It flows really well all throughout...(until the second to last stanza...that one sort of falters just a bit), but then the last lines flow nicely again.
I like the idea behind this... as would anybody who has been hurt by love. One hopes that people can change for the better, once they recognize their wrong doings. Nice job! :0)

This was just incredible!! As always your rhyming was impecable and your flow lovely!!! I wish more people would take the time to write themselves letter like this, perhaps we would have a lower divorce rate and domestic abuse cases!!! Best of luck....

OMG...I love this poem, I love the dear fool line, so points out that you know you made a mistake...once again with your poems I can't find anything wrong with it...I think that more people need to try this, it's major self introspection...yet one more great poem from a great poet
