The egg stands balanced
Held by perfect harmony,
Spring's ballerina.
Held by perfect harmony,
Spring's ballerina.
Author notes
This haiku describes the ability to balance an egg on its fat end, which can only be done during the equinox. I have always observed the custom of taking a carton of eggs and lining them up in a neat little row, every spring.~Artis

Oh, I just learned something; I'll have to try this! What a great reference to the equinox - balance - ballerina (on point no doubt).
Congratulations.

Very interesting haiku like where my thoughts have travelled. Thank you.
The question remains do I give my children a box of eggs ........ There is just something special about the logic of haiku compellingly beautiful when it aligns with nature and the seasons.Good luck in te contest.
