Each one stands alone, and they can be sundered and reassembled in any order. Each one is a perfect autumn haiku. Scatter them round the page!

Ah, didn't you post these as comments on GazeGoes haiku or something, or am I just thinking of her haiku? I could click on the link you provided but I am too lazy.

Ok, I went and looked, I re-read the ones I wrote there too...I'm weird...it's safe to say I won't be posting those anytime soon.

I think I like number three the best, it gives a great picture of the moonlit night, and that annoying dog my neighbor lets out to howl all night.

    dog howling
    at moon
    shotgun blast

I just wrote the first haiku that foretells the future.

You are a natural and take to haiku like a dog to water, or is that a fish to water, or a fish to the moon...or me to Moxie...that would be the one.

    Oh, you have them posted!
You weren't taking classes when you wrote those, you just have haiku inside of you, natural talent

  • Headlines: Dog lapps up moon!

Interesting elements in this collection of haiku scenarios, dog, moon and pond. I see you have advanced in your haiku writing, eliminating unnecessary word yet conveying full picture images. Well Done!

    Your humble haijin friend, Dennis

taking my second haiku-class at the moment, haikumonk is an amazing teacher (and so was lotusoflakshmi) ...
I am still not going full way towards originality, but hope that once I learn the basic steps, I will dare to pirouette like crazy ...

      thank you for stopping by,
      your sisterly friend marion
