I sit here and I wonder
and I ponder, and pontificate
upon the few decisions that you've made
and that you're making
sore afraid that I will someday
be the toy that's cast aside
the forgotten once loved member
looked upon with love and pride
now tossed away and tidied up
another lonely longing fixture
in the vast toy box of life
Tell me truly dear sweet creature
Will you leave me far behind?
Or am I only being silly
thinking about things a bit too much?
God I miss your touch,
you truly are the sun up in my sky
and I dare say I might die
without your sweetness and your light
And your warmth and gentleness
Please let me know that it's all right.

The toy box of life
Oh yes how it seems that way at time as the thoughts wander and the heartaches to know. to really know... Is this lve forever?
