The Killer

  I came walking in.
You didn't see me.
I greeted you with a smile.
Judas
You didn't even see it coming.
Proficient
silent
quiet
How many times did I kill?
A hundred, A million, A billion.
I lost count after ten.
You were my friend yet I killed you.
Not killing you with bullets or stab wounds and walk away to let you bleed.
I said mean and hurtful words for spite.
Yes I killed
Killing souls
Killing emotion
I am going to go to hell

The killer is how I feel after saying something mean and hurtful to others. They could be a friend, stranger or some one I just met and said the wrong thing at the wrong time. I could never shoot or stab a person to kill them. But I still can kill them
not there physical being to end there life. I kill there soul, there emotion. Killing the inner person. This is just as bad as if I took a knife and stabbed them or took a gun and shoot them. They are alive and well but there dead on the inside due to my hateful and spiteful words. Killing there physical body would be more humane wrong but still humane saying hateful or spiteful things they get to walk away but if they see you they die again because of what was said and remembered. So now when I am mad I try to walk away not saying a word. Words can shoot someone down just like bullets and once there out there words like bullets don't do u-turn. Saying sorry is too little too late

I do relate somewhat, though of course as a metaphorical killer, not a real one.
sometimes I feel I'm always in the wrong, for just being honest or for being a little blunt, but how else can you sepak the truth without doing those things?

I think that there are many ways to kill a person, not always physically, but also mentally and spiritually. The words you say to someone can shape their hearts, or break them. Lovely poem. ^^

That is so very much the truth. Words can kill people in a worse way than any kind of weapon. I enjoyed reading that. A lot of people do not see that and they kill people all of the time that without even giving it a second thought. People like that really suck. You wrote a very good piece here. Keep up the good work. i hope to see more of this type of work.
