Over livid wine
and the heart of a swine,
we sat.
Like a doll put on display,
and a man who knew the sins by heart.
the smiles hollow-
meant to look like love.
The eyes critical;
looking for the crippling hit.
Delicacies the king hath never touched
lay before,
unappreciated and untouched.
Ruby lips,
and perfect hips.
Handsome Eyes,
and perfect lies.
Like a storm about to break,
through smiles of clay assurances,
a single thought would wring,
the mind to bitter conclusions.
For all who here,
now knew the trap-
For Deception is sitting across the table from us.
Over livid wine
and the heart of a swine,
for it must have been thier's at that.
