the soft coo of birds nested in the trees
the calm breeze keeps the heat at bay
the shade is just a degree to cool
and the sun a degree to warm
the sun shimmers off the surface of a lake
so calm it looks like a sheet
of blue green glass
with bright fish swimming
lazy just beneath the surface
the wind picks up
blowing in dark storm clouds
that swell and turns
like it is powered by the
soul of a wild Stallion
rain falls in a hard fast downpour
the wind wiping it around
as a crazy animal
would tare apart its prey

This reminds me of the song "A Rainy Night in Georgia." It's a great description committed to your memory bank. Thanks for your entry. David Wright

Sounds like one of those days when I go fishing and look around me at the alien world of nature, yet feel a part of it all.
Wonderful relaxing write but should not Pray be prey?
Thank you for your entry.
