The Lycanthrope

The darkness creeps across my mind
A shade of evil in its folds
I feel the changes sweeping over me
The transformation has begun
My fingers ache with every twist
The tendons tear and are rebound
Blood starts to flow with in my mouth
The metallic taste fills my senses
I fall over but still stand
On four now not just two
The hair bursts forth with lightning speed
My clothes are ripped to rags
I arch my back and stand again
Slightly hunched from the subsiding pain
It never gets any easier
Though the control comes faster now
I walk upright on half-human legs
A massive hump upon my back
The pain is gone for now
But it will return again
For what is the lycanthrope in God’s eyes
Is he special or just a freak
I go out to prowl the night
For that is what I know
I use my power to protect
And hope he knows it’s so

Reminds me of a poem i wrote awhile back.http://allpoetry.com/poem/3543232
I know exactly where you are coming from, escaping into a lyconthropic form, powered by nature and its lust to kill!
    Nice escapism here.Into another world.
