Sun goes 'round with flames unfurling-
I watch each exhausted cloud combust
fall ashen, dying embers glowing golden
then fading fast into
an octane twilight
Pedal to the metal- passion fuels this race
Will soon leave daylight in a pile of dusk-
Darkness rolls into the winners circle
as crimson tail-lights
trail on out of sight...

This is wonderful! I started reading and the meter didn't let me stop, if flows so quickly and the image is vivid. Well done!
Love,

Different take on the photo, out of the box for sure, but leaves one thinking around the write right back into the photo and set, at least in my mind, a thought provoking consideration for what the enviroment is falling prey to. Excellent write

yeah!
Yeah! Nicely done.
I enjoyed the metaphoric way you described this sunset.
Comparing the sunset to a car race is very ambitios and I think you did it very well.
Your take is very creative and you are to be commended for that.
Good luck in the contest.
I hope you have a race-winning day,
BJ.

chronicle this...
gorgeous photo! and the words leave unforgettable fumes in their wake. one provision over-turned leaves a gap stance of uncertainty, closer to a rift in some other dissension not worth mentioning. the use of octane warrants some sort of federal regulation - i'm sure of it. nice work in word and in image...
