Play for me

amore, Play for me

There are no mistaken words
For such so carefully placed,
Nor hidden meaning to sway one so,
Or deaf ears there gone to waste.

Oh such love it boldly glows,
On rise and set …in orbit's throw,
Lover's song, the minstrel's voice
This moment,
lover's doeth know.

Please tell me what you think

    This is so true.

I love this poem. I especially like the line "nor hidden meaning...or deaf ears there gone to waste." SO often people do not listen, even to the one who loves them. Real love does entail hearing and understanding what the other says...and then caring about it.
(SPouse and I have gotten through the first two and are working on that third. Men do have a tendency to say, Ah, ha, yeah, etc.)

    You always send me, Darmok.

(Hugging the romantic master) <--- you
