Sunset in my eyes
Red rivers in my heart
Purple flowers in my hair
And pink roses everywhere
The night comes in again
My fears come to life again
Ghosts howl like the wind
Jaws wide open for another bite
As all evil takes flight
The lights down low
And faces hidden
Shaddows gloom
In the night they consume
Our lonely hearts
To watch as we bleed away
Sunset in my eyes
Red rivers in my heart
Purple flowers in my hair
And pink roses everywhere
In the dark, in the silence
They crawl into our homes
And into our beds
From our heads to their teeth in our necks
From the bleeding bite to our deaths
All black, purple and blue
Our reflections taken
Our normal lives stolen
Our hearts turned cold
Living life in black and white
Forever burnt and blinded by the light of day
Forever in the shadow of the night we must stay
Sunset in my eyes
Red rivers in my heart
Purple flowers in my hair
And pink roses everywhere
Stop and stare
Look me in the eyes
If you dare

This is a pretty cool poem. I like that you kept on repeating the first stanza. It really worked with this. I love your imagery too. Sunset in my eyes, that's awesome. I found one mistake though. In the 3rd stanza, 3rd line, you put an extra d in shadow. Great write.
