A Gathering Storm

This storm has been building for weeks and months.
The air is getting hotter,
The breeze a little quicker,
My blood is running thicker every day.
My skin has started tingling,
It's more and more sensitive,
It can feel the positive energy building up.

Yesterday I felt my stomach disappear.
The lack of ringing in my ears is clear.
And I'm tense with waiting and fear.

This is the calm before the gathering storm.
