Save Me

I am
In a castle,
In the highest tower,
Waiting for my rescue.
My savior-
to come whisk me away.
I can see beautiful country for miles-
Nobody is coming.

different take on the prompt and well written, I enjoyed the read, nice closing for the poems sense of waiting leaves the wait to continue in the mind of the reader.

Good luck in the contest and thank you for entering

I love the fact that it looks like you are seeing a castle with the way that you have placed the word lines. Beautiful imagery arrises when reading this piece. I wish you all of the luck in your contest.

    Blessings,

    Rev. Alimae
