Don't leave home,
My love,
Do you remember the words I sang?
Though I stood tall as you left,
I hinted to you,
I hinted to you my pain,
After I closed the door,
I watched you drive away in the rain,
After your absence it came,
My sorrow became the rain,
A flood washed my face,
And I longed deeply for your taste,
As I rest my head on your pillow,
You're soft and comforting crutch,
I felt mascara running down my cheeks,
As if an open wound on gauze,
I know I can't ask you,
To leap once more without looking,
But the desire begs in my heart,
To aid you in finding a new start,
I long to hold you again,
Your skin caressing my skin,
I dream of your life merged with mine,
Our spirits become one,
They become divine,
I've never fallen so hard before,
My heart hit the ground,
Before my body touched the floor,
You take my words away,
And my rhythm has long since blown away,
I struggle to write what my heart feels,
But it's too difficult to find the words this time,
You truly have swept me off my feet,
As my voice tries to meet,
My body to say the most important thing,
I love you, my queen,
More than anything
Author notes
This poem, is not my most jaw dropping writes, but it is with all my heart that it was written, even if I can't find the "perfect" words, but I hope the words are perfect enough for my love
