in frozen stillness
with single rose
of love in hand;
memorialized
thoughts
sheltering
darkness
evermore
with single rose
of love in hand;
memorialized
thoughts
sheltering
darkness
evermore

Wonderfully penned take on the prompt my friend. I find this writ to be touching and relates to the all of us. Much like life that we guard and ponder, so do we death. Yet, as long as we continue to breathe, we cling on to each moment. A gift that is as simple beauty as a flower, reflects the desire to exist and become. Fragility of the rose is as intriguing as its thorns... an oxymoron? I think so. But so is the existence of life and death. I have enjoyed this read and wish you the best in the comp
