She cries
For the screams
For the mental abuse
For the emotional scarring
She blames
The father
The mother
The divorce
She screams
For her loss
For her newfound sadness
For her future depression episodes
She cuts
The skin no one sees
The ties with her family
The last few threads of sanity
She writes
For the release
For the emotion
For the freedom of speech
She stops
The feelings of anger
The feelings of sadness
The feelings of emptiness, and then
She cries

I LOVE IT! Speaks from the heart to the heart. so beautifully written. Speaks of so many and cries out for more. The structures is perfect and it flows so well. The poem makes me want to hug every one who has dealy with pain.
