Remnants

Broken dandelions weep
milky white sap,
staining inquisitive fingers,
up to no good...
mischief makers,
unattended, run wild
leaving remnants,
brazen,tell tale signs,
finger prints and smudges,
masterpieces of post modern art,
contained within drying paint,
on bedroom walls...

I first read - 'dying paint' which left a brilliant image and metaphor in my head. When I re-read - the flow was incorporated well but the meaning a little held back.

    Thanks for entering,
