Serene sounds surround my being
as shadows slip across surreal sensations.
Dew drips drop, they do fall in sheens
like morning sweat on supple breasts.
Inhale, breathe the morning sigh
and warm winds of waking breath
slip across sweet summer sky
like sweet white wine swallowed
by the smooth, winding river
following the summer night.
Day comes, late storm approaches
exhale hot winds, water ripples
like late spring Thames, blown asunder
hear the waves, hear the thunder
and see thick barbed wired lighting, hear it scream
screeching, bleeding and cutting
as rain is gushing, rain is rushing
flowing with the electric pulse
and the exhalation of the damned and wicked
Evening moon, splintered, shattered
suffocated from swollen clouds
Simulacrum shadows weaving stitches
and leaving scars for a savior
to count the stars no longer here
Coming summer night, river rushing
to wash away the sweet summer sky
as satanic sounds surround my being
and push me into the night

A tale of contrasts. It starts out so calm to come to such a crashing end, very much like thunder.

Thank you for your entry. I enjoyed how you started off with the line, but it seems it became very dark towards the end and kind of sad. When I think of Serene sounds surround mty being, it is more like a peaceful solitary sanctuary...I guess we all view things differently
Thank you for your entry..best wishes..Ken IBT
