A Poet's Angel.

Dear Lady I am waiting, so search and you will find
My heart is beating outside the realms of your own mind
You'll find in meditation the place you have to go
So breathe inward and focus, then breathe out, long and slow.

I'll hypnotise you gladly, if that is what you need
Whilst you drift in the distance, of intellect you'll feed
I'll give you words of focus, to write when you awake
So then my dearest lady, sweet poetry we'll make.

We have no need of romance for that would take too long
Instead we'll read together, then write a well known song
I'll satisfy your body with knowledge of the word
I'm waiting come my dear one,I'm never seen, just heard.

It's good to see rhyme done right, although i could have done without the well overdone love angle. No doubt you exhibit skill here, but I was hoping for something not so crystal clear in this contest, thanks a lot for entering

Thankyou for your comments although this poem is not about love, it is about the imagination taking on the persona of a second person to write poety, Ros

I loved your sea goddess poem the best, but this is very well put together. I love all your work and how the rhyming just flows. Another GREAT Write!
