Running Out Of Angels

It was a human Angel
That left the world today
Taken from us in a flash
Because it is His way.

This Angel was the life
In everyone they knew
This Angel was the one
That bonded us like glue

The warmth and love that came
From their never ending smile
Brightened everyones day
But now we are in denial

Why would God take this one?
Why not one of us?
Ones more deserving,
Who wouldn't make a fuss?

The one He took away
Left children and a man
To face this world without
One of their biggest fans

The only reason I can see
To take this one away
Was to fill a void in Heaven
Because He needed her today

Running out of Angels
In Heaven up above
To watch over all of us
And guide us with their love

Our Angel will be remembered
Not because we didn't say goodbye
But because now they have the power
To spread their wings and fly.
