I had a dream
Everyone was free
Except for you and me
You see I was tied to you
With this golden twine
It went from your heart to mine
But one day you decided to cut the line
Yet I chose to stay behind
Soon people came
What a shame
Since I refused to play
That same old game
Instead I wanted to
Find where the rabbit hole would go
So I searched all in vain
Again and again
But I could never seem to find
A similiar mind
I traveled far and wide
To find myself back at your side
But there was no twine
Since you chose to always decline
So while everyone walked away free
Choosing what to do and who to be
I sit here with obediant heart
Even though we will forever be apart
