Mrs. Jacqui Murdock

dancing radiantly of joy beneath
azure skies and candy drop stars,

starlit passion
radiating glory

cascading waters reflecting
incandescent illuminations

If we could ...
turn back the hands of time,

clandestined hope
bestowing the soul

dancing in the wind
singing wondrous melodies

opalescent orb of wonder
with palm cupped; held in strength

ethereal hues of lavender
aloft in transparent dreams

saddened by memories; unforgiven entity

Author notes

PROMPT:

Think of the name of your favorite teacher. That name will be the title of your poem.

Next, go to your most recent poem that you have posted on your page. The first two lines will be the first two lines of your tribute poem.

Now go to the second poem and steal the first two lines from that poem.

Then go to the third poem, and so on, until you have visited eight of your most recent poems, stealing two beginning lines from each.

Finally, go to the 9th poem and take the last line.

Your tribute poem is now completed and it will be weirdly wonderful. We shall read it and laugh and laugh!
