Hangman's Noose

I seen the all the truths in your lies,
Watching your espressions as you speak.
What troubles my dying heart the most,
Is it worth all my very painful agony?

I couldn't give you away like you want,
Seeing you parade out my loving arms.
Yet your infidelities have cause pain,
You pass the cross bating my true love.

I feel the tighting of a hangman's noose,
Strangling the last few breaths from me.
Knowing once you leave my love behind,
There will be no coming back for me.

{Like Jim Croce sings," Cause baby I can't
                              hang upon no lovers cross for you"}

    Bravo

A splendid take on the prompt tht would make Jim Croce very proud.
    Power-packed with raw emotions...

The second stanza tugs hard at the heart and soul.
I love the methoric use in the final stanza as well.

A hangmans noose to represent the pain and smothering that one feels as being a marytr tied to a lover's cross.
    You have amazing talent!

    WELL PENNED!

Thank you for your entry and I wish you the very best in the contest.
