Mr. Hodge-Plante-Collins

On fresh knobby knees
The fawn takes its first spring steps
Sinking to the bottom, wearing shoes of cement
The fish gathered round to sing Cupid's lament.
Everywhere I look
there is something-
The fine haired tip
Touches Indian ink,
Absolute numbness
From the breath I can't catch-
'Twas the Night before Christmas,
And through this whole country,
The priceless string of an oyster's charge,
Finally back in my possesion.
A deafening shine
Echoed in each drop;
Over the real red Crans.

    LIONS HAVE PRIDE!!

So curious and engaging, very creative, captivating, calls to mind Lewis Carroll. A personal touch with an eclectic mix.

    On fresh knobby knees
The fawn takes its first spring steps
Sinking to the bottom, wearing shoes of cement

Is this not just the most wonderful four lines you have ever read? I love this funny poem so MUCH! It is wildly mad and very satisfyingly happy.

lol Oh, how I love random poetry.
