...religion?



I'm sure I saw it in your eyes,
A vast cathedral in the skies.
(And with your body pressed to mine,
I'm sure that I have been baptized.)
Though what religion this may be,
Of that I think I'm quite unsure,
(But when your hands were placed on me,
I caught a glimpse of heavens door.)
Who would have known that I alone,
Could write a prayer or sing a psalm,
(That on my knees I'd view my home,
And love could be found palm to palm.)

So long have I been thinking that I've fallen out of grace,
But now that you have known my heart, I know that I've been saved.
