Exactly like the rain that drips through
I wish I could be…
Exactly like you
No poetry, no spills, no velvet or leather
I’d die two shades below the rest
And still I’d never be better
Than you
I simply look like something ripped
From a comic strip
Brown eyes dipped in an artistic kiss
Too afraid to blink
Too scared my lashes might rinse
All that you left me, away
Exaggeration…
Rolled into the tips of the honest man
I was never that bold,
Or structured like so
I was no statue, no liar, no echo
Just the mirror in your room
And on your tongue
The eloquent reminder
How I hate to distaste you…
With no proper attire
But if we knew the known of not knowing at all
The dance of the tiles blackest memoirs
If we discovered the beyond’s beyond
Behind doors of the farthest unharmed
Retired, against!
I shout at the rest
Of two shades lighter than chance
Itself alone isn’t written in blood
No stone, not even shed upon
But fixable, incredibly based and layered
Drenched in the outlines of pure existence
This, this majestic trial…
And to think…
Only by chance,
Only by a sudden smile…

Thankyou pieces. I thought about you when I wrote this I guess cause I knew I'd put it on here
lol! Otherwise it's hard to say what I was thinking at the time. Sometimes you live your life looking in from the outside of your little box and it scares the crap out of you. Actually I dont think thats what this poem was about..lol nevermind. Who knows. Psfh.
