R emember that one day when you sat by me
E ven though I was different from all the other kids
M y hair and cloths were way out of style
E normous and weird glasses were on my face
M aybe even my socks didn't match my shoes
B ut you sat there anyway
E ven though people stared you stayed firm
R ight now I am here, for you were there.

    That is sweet! A comma after "here" in the last part would make people understand easier; I got a lil confused there thinking it meant (at first) "I am here for you" and then I got all... yeah... Good job!!!
