"The Birth of a Goddess"

Missing image
The golden sun is setting
painting pastels in the sky.
A rocky shore caressing
the e'er incoming tide.

The image of a goddess
appears within the swells
created to perfection
awaiting birth upon a shell.

Neptune's magic nectar
is poured upon her form
to arouse the dormant Venus
Thus, the gift of Love is born.

Some may call her 'Aphrodite';
Some may call her 'Venus' too.
The 'Gift of Love Incarnate'--
I found that 'Gift' in You!

    Congratulations on the silver. I liked the little twist at the end as using it to compliment a special lady. Really nice.

    Interesting picture, sums up what I imagine the tales to be like, this is a very poetic description of one of my favorite Greek stories, Look's Good, Nail It!
