A friend of mine is feeling very sad
Her life is not the way that it should be
A soul it seems that's lost in misery
Just the sort of thing to drive you mad
And still her writing teems with energy
Her talent lifts her friends in every way
She graces us with magic poetry
And makes me glad that I her saw today
So lady please remember I am here
I'll be around you know I'm here to stay
Never have been known to duck or sway
Just I hope a little source of cheer
It doesn't really matter what you feel
You have so many friendships that are real
