It’s been a year, I still have not let go,
bereavement rests unaided cold and blind.
Granddaughters gone in vision, not in mind,
I often reminisce and see them grow.
How can I… pen the words, that’s hard to say?
Samantha and Tiana … in my dreams,
alive and well and singing, so it seems.
I’ll miss them both until my dying day.
Their mother~ in my thoughts and in my prayers;
she drowns in sorrow each and every night,
while clinging to their toys to bring her light,
unending hugs on both their teddy bears.
Our children shouldn’t die and leave this plane,
it hurts so much and words can never tell.
in heaven I am sure their souls do dwell.
A sonnet, for two sisters, love remains.

I know this sonnet is not perfect. But it was penned through teary eyes and straight from my heart. It has been 1 year today since their deaths. Please do not critique, it will remain as is.

My Dear Sister
Your dreams are surely worth falling asleep for
The immense pain of such a loss is very hard to endure and to express...may your granddaughters keep singing their beautiful song, when you close your eyes at the end of the day...
A sensitive and heartfelt Sonnet, and my heart goes out to you and your daughter on this very sad anniversary
Much Love and thoughts are sent to you...x ~Sis~

I know they are with God, that is why when you dream of them they are singing. They are probably playing with golden toys right now
It is a tragedy

But i am sure they are flying with the angels

My heart goes out to you for the loss that time will not erase. Though they are in your dreams but not your vision now, there will be a grand day of reunion where Tiana & Samantha await you in the here-after. May their smiles and laughter never fade from your memory. Good memorial poem your dear granddaughters.

May God continue to stengthen and comfort you during this time of grief on the anniversary of your loss.
