I wait
as you run far.
Tracking you
like Orion in winter sky,
I see you stumble
among the constellations.
Stars eventually
burn and fall—
I wait
to catch you.

Capturing!
Great imagery & content. This is love. Seeing the frailty in someone but waiting to help. Love the way the loved one is like a constellation & then depicted as a star burning & falling & you a steady friend waiting. Really nice. It evoked a lot of feeling for me. Been there. Seen nice constellations. Burning, falling stars can be hot to handle!

Again! I love it…
I use a lot of sky/space imagery myself, so I can especially identify with this.
I especially like the ‘Orion in winter’ and then the ‘burn an fall’… It makes me think “it sure is cold down here, and it might be a whole lot warmer with you in my arms.”
In case I haven’t said especially enough: especially especially especially (yeesh! Someone get me a thesaurus!)
I also love the implication that the love of this person is unconditional. So they can have done something utterly stupid, ‘crashed and burned’ and you would still be right there to catch them.
