God's Golden Sun

Missing image
I looked out my bathroom window
to see the deep golden sun of springtime
reappear for the first time this year

God spoke to me through the soothing rays
of warm gold cascading through the window,
"Don't leave the seat up." He said.

lol. That ending was hilarious. Good advice, though. It's always best to put the toilet seat down.

I laughed so much that I fell of my chair! This poem is so much fun, I must admit I was sceptic in the start since the poem was so short and you spoke about god but I must say the end was hilarious! I didnt expect that at all!
Great written poem! Keep up the amazingly fun writing!

    Okay.

Oh I think God can pretty much put the seat down if he wants to. But I liked the graphic and a little something to smile about.

I love this poem! It beautifully describes nature, and also in a more spiritual sense. I love how you illustrate the sun as something sacred. In Judaism, everything is holy or about to become holy. I like that idea. There's almost nothing more relaxing than watching a beautiful sunset in slow motion.

This is sound advice. You got to be careful of those toilet seats. Anyone can just fall in. Keep on writing.

Just when I was easing into the scene, you flushed it!! Very funny, you rat!

  • Warm and sunny reminder of 'Light'!

Good to know His Guidance is available whenever He is remembered.
And He will always inform us on our own level, which we can understand!
I enjoyed the simplicity and I wish I had such a view of the sea, from my window! Still there are always many ways of remembering the True Friend. I liked such sentiment.

If there was a God she would know that if you have a small son you always leave the seat up or it gets wet!!!
For small son read any man under 90!
