We send our soliders overseas right? and yet almost no one give them the recognization they deserve and earn. why when our men and women come home are they not all welcomed with open arms and hearts? many come home to empty airports,empty cars, empty homes and hearts. take the time to try and imagine what they go trough and see on a daily basis over there. men being shot, blown to pieces, woman, childern, senior citizens...all being killed so someone higher in power can feel good about themselves, and the decisions they make.

I agree that our soldiers are being let down by so many when they are out there fighting for our freedom, democracy is a cost that only the rich control and the poor can only bare the scars left behind, A very powerful write.

this is a great write. i like it alot. This write is full of great emotion. Alot of people I know re involved over seas. I go to a military school and so I know lots of people over theere. Well I dont go to that school anymore, now I go to an governors school for the arts and tech, but still. We are all a part of this weither we realize or not, and our troops need our love in support cause we are what modivates them to fight for our country to begin with. the least we can do is be there for them wen they come home after risking their lives for us

I get what you mean about coming home to emptiness. It pisses me off how people are towards our troops. I was walking home from school today and walked past a group of old people holding signs against the war and I almost yelled "SEMPER FI", or "1 2 3 4... UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS"

I love this. I've got reletives I can't talk to anymore cause they are so anti- everything I'd have to kick there asses. It really irks me how taken advantage of we really are. Thank you for righting this, I can add you to the list of people I'm serving for. As you can imagine, it's a pretty short list.

This is damn straight, some people even curse them
like they're evil. It's not right 'n' not fair.
Even the idiots who ordered them there don't say thanks, which really takes the piss.
Great writing, now take it to your mayor. Demand parades, bet you don't get them because there's no money.
Just say to the people in charge, if we didn't go to war then we'd have the money & more people alive.
As you can tell, I strongly agree with your writing.
