There is no greater love then His,
That He would pay a price so great-
To take my sins apon the tree,
Because I couldn't carry the weight.
How great a love, beyond compare,
That such a King would die for me.
He left splendor and His crown,
To die a sinner's death at calvery.
So much He did to help us all-
While He was here on earth.
Healing the sick and teaching us
The plan God had had since our birth.
But it was for the cross that He came,
And so that was where He went.
It seemed that it would be the end,
But God's great power was not spent.
On the third day He rose again-
And freed me of all my sin.
He took a life that was a ruin,
And made me pure and whole within.
Now I praise Him for the cross,
And the tomb that couldn't hold Him long.
Such a Savior I am often without words
When I think that His love was so strong.
Hail To the King of Kings!
