Secrets held within the mind
The tongue remains controlled.
The truth is always there to find
In what the eyes do hold.
The eyes are windows to the soul.
Revealing thoughts untold.
Look there when the truth is your goal
And the facts will soon unfold.
Secrets hide in plain sight
Just waiting to be told.
Try to hide it as you might.
Your eyes, the truth, do hold.

I love this poem, it had such a beautifully eloquent flow that the rhyming seemed second nature rather than a forced result of this contest. I truly loved the content, and the message of this poem and really hope you do well. Great job and good luck.
