White Blood

I don't bleed black from the pain of my existance
I don't bleed black for the horrors I have seen
I don't bleed black for the sins I've committed
I don't bleed black for how heartless I've been

I bleed white blood, clear as the snow
beautiful, reflective, with a silver glow

I bleed white blood for the love I never had
I bleed white blood for the emptiness inside
I bleed white blood for the joys of life I've missed
I bleed white blood for the tears I've never cried

Author notes

I normally don't like rhyming poems, but this one has struck a chord. A very individual piece which means something and has good imagery. Good luck and thanks for entering.
