A
drop falls
followed by
another drop
rain strikes the pavement
(pitter pat, pitter pat)
like a snare drum's rhythmic beat
setting a tempo for the day
matching the pulse of mother nature
tension follows the rain down the storm drain

I really like this.. the rain drops and the rhythmic beat... Good thought... Very interesting form, and beautifully written

A nicely written etheree. It would be a lot better if you could have made it a cleaner triangle, still a nice entry.
