Pining

Missing image

night melts
in her kohl lined eyes,

whilst
they muse with dewdrops
reading
unfinished love letters
from distant stars.

a hope

entangles

with moonbeams,

another knot,

another night,

of pining...

You've captured unrequited love so very well here! i had visuals of a vast desert, a lone woman and the big expanse of sand and stars around her... wonderfully succinct piece of writing.
