Wandering schemes
Silly dreams
Burned-out emotions
Wasted dreams
Follow me through time
Roll together to combine
A heavy weight
To hinder my climb
I stop for a season on my journey
Find the time to unpack my history
Examine closely what makes me
Me
Leave behind what hinders
Burn it all to cinders
Along with all those bridges
And take a long, deep breath
Reexamine who I am
Know that I’m a better woman
For taking the time to heal
Because now I know what’s real
Take the jewels no longer dusty
Blow off the pages, no longer musty
Reshoulder my much lighter sack
And put my feet back to the path

Bravo!
You nailed it my friend! What a creative way of saying that you re evaluated yourself. I loved the referance to you walk with God. You did an excellent job. I am adding this to my finalist list. Thanks so much for entering!
