I never dreamed of treasures
or fortunes found untold.
Nor, ever have envisioned
myself adorned in gold.
My heart lay still and dormant;
My love still unfulfilled.
My life had been so lonely
and many tears were spilled.
Then God, in all His mercy,
took pity on my soul.
He gave to me a treasure
that completely made me whole.
It came so unexpected;
I was taken by surprise.
My still heart started beating
when I gazed into your eyes.
My heart soars to the heavens
and I live my life anew.
At last, I found my treasure,
the day that I found you.
