I stood, shaking.
The fear slowly consuming me,
filling me up from the very tips of my toes.
My breathing, shallow
and my heart aching as it beats
fast and in an unrythmic pattern.
Bo-boom, Boo-boom, B-boom.
My eyes widen and my mouth opens.
I'm stuck frozen in time,
a scream etched in to my features.
