Everything was lost

My heart didn’t break.
It didn’t ache.
All it did
was grow cold. 

I couldn’t think.
I couldn’t feel. 
I passed the evening
numb.

There was no warmth
behind your eyes.
Everything was cold.

I had nothing left.
I felt no pain
I cried no tears.
My aches had no purpose.

Everything
was lost.

    omg.... I'm depressed now!! Thanks alot! lol, no really though this was amazingly sad and amazingly good! I feel to confused right now to put much... I feel to confused becuase this was soooo sad... but I thought you got over that? Great job anyway!!!

    this was so sad... SO sad. almost seemed like a healing type poem. except pain has to be be felt after the numbness to heal... i have felt that numbness and pain. learning from what is lost in hopes of not losing something special again... my prayer.
