from our last perilous encounter,
what if you had never torn everything apart?
of unexplained fears
they give you pills to swallow
I'm tempted to step through
we're both praying for the demise of a common foe,
I'm sorry, I can't be that way
I can't get close enough to touch you
and live your life
isn't there some glittering deviation
that they love me
well, since you are asking
tickles my nose
as long as I can
shocked eyes widen
it's all in my head
Author notes
This was fun to read! I have some odd third lines of poems...
For those of you who don't know, I wrote this using (including the title) third lines from every third poem beginning with my newest ones.
