Light pours into sight,
signifying the end of the first fight.
The breath of life has blessed me,
but what is this supposed to be?
New sensations, new feelings,
every things so new, all of it appealing.
Everyone surrounds me and I feel so weak.
I'm growing a little tired now,
I think I'll get some sleep.

So, I wrote this for my creative writing class.
We had to pick a card then write something based off the word we received.

Hello there.
I enjoyed reading your awesome, descriptive poem and if i read it correctly I would guess that it's about birth. At least, i can see somebody being born in your poem.
It's a great question to ask, as it will get your readers thinking. Also, you may learn that we read different things into words and that the poet's intentions are not always as important as the thoughtful reader's perceptions.
