Because you called for me, I have come.
Because you needed me, I am here.
Take this life, therefore
and from this flesh and blood
draw sustenance, and from bone and sinew
make such implements as you require.
You have called for me and I have come.
You have asked of me and I have given.
You have needed me and I am yours.
I am spent for you in the sunshine,
in this blossom.

"You have needed me and I am yours."
I love that line. This is beautiful. A different take on the prompt
Well done and thank you for entering x

This is a beautiful response to the prompt. I see the courtly knight on bended knee before his lady, proffering his heart and soul with the rose. Restraint of language does not hide the passion. The final two lines are such a gift of love and life.

Thank you, sweet lady. Imam Rumi would also understand the metaphor.
