that im so head over heels for you
and a moment away from you
seems like a lifetime
and when you look at me
my heart melts into a thousand and one words
beginning with "i"
ending with "you"
and when you smile
i bite my lip in frustration
because of all the things i want us to be
and when you hold my body
i tremble for you to never let go
and when you say all those words
i die a little more inside
please say all this waiting
is worth it
because it takes the life out of me
to know that i may never be yours
