Transcending yet another hour
Another moment, another second
Rolling over into the years in which we live:
Real and tangible with knowledge,
And yet so giving as to stow away quiet beauty
For a still day when all seems meant for peace
Yet it takes not a year to feel what is seen,
But just a second glance into the eyes of the world
Whether it is the pastoral greens turned to fire red and yellow
Or just a second of hope in the deepness of another,
For the space in which time allows for smaller things
Is love in creation in all its ways and shapes
The tragedy of age is but a myth
Despite that years make man move slower
As with what he sees,
But a slower love is kinder than most things
Author notes
For my love.
Despite the coming of the years, nothing stays stronger and nothing gets better than love.
