The Devourers of Darkness,
once dominated a domain,
dark and destructive,
in spirit and soul,
despite the fact it was built
entirely of stone...
Power
The intense power
that radiated from the rock
ripped through the chakras
of any so bold
as to approach
unprotected,
unprepared.
Vulnerable to the evil
that the Devourers
laid to rest
each day -
for indeed that was their duty.
Reaping from the corners
that few dared to tread
(and most who did
wound up dead
instead)
they brought the most vile of filth
and strip them,
toes all the way
up
up
up...
to the head.
And the foul energies
plagueing the land
(as at now,
uncontrolled)
easily abolished it
into the centre of the Earth.
Helping, like all humans,
to nurture her unwell.
But these stone turrets,
sturdy against relentless
winds and gales and breezes...
a view that will never cease
to please us
as we march atop Her, chanting,
ancient latin,
upon
rune scribed
human skin
parchment.
Shadows...
Practice our magic,
our Crafts and our Art.
We will rise strong,
and prove us right,
you shall see.
We will scourge
and purge the earth
of the filth -
( and master calls;
"Enough!" )
from
SoulStone Bluff.
Author notes
This was a total blast to write. Hope it's not too long... even if it is, I'm proud.

Cannibalistic Goths rise again!
I've recently 'uncovered' history of the Cannibalistic Goths, and they were once Devourers of Darkness, ridding the Earth of as much evil as possible. Easily seduced by the power of evil, they use it to do good, and make themselves stronger. It is difficult to tell whether they are good or bad, and I, in all the glory of it, command the Legendary Ancient Sanct of Cannibalistic Goths - aka D.O.D. Yeah.

That story is not that ridiculous, if you believe that humans are actually powerful and prone to magick, as us.
