Life of All the Same Sin

You've been reciting a dance to the same sad song
As a friend at your side; I have watched far too long
The measure of time I had so easily lost
Like loose change on the road covered in morning frost

A whistle in the wind a ringing in my ear
As a cheer and a clap rises up from the rear
In the back of the room there burn familiar stares
Fascination of men and Conformitie's snares

Please sir turn away from me as you sow your seeds
Corrupt impressionable minds; and starve their needs
She deserves so much more than life of all the same
I would share Truth with you, if I could speak His name

With the loss of my voice I can be of no use
Every second gone by with increasing abuse
Her feet pedaling raw with each step of her dance
Under the Devil's shadow a hypnotic trance

wow....way to rip my heart out. Impressive though, really, this has to be one of the best poems I've read in a long while.
