The question

Can anyone
resurrect love
that died in the abyss
of betrayal?

For that love
would cloister itself
in the quiet halls
where hurt does not exist.

I have read this and re-read this, and I cannot tell you how much this resonates inside me. I love the brevity of it, and your careful word choice—I adored how you described that love would cloister itself where it could not get hurt.

Thank you so very much for composing this wonderful piece for this contest, and for sharing your talent with me.

At first, I was somewhat confused about the meaning but then soon found myself re-reading it again and still the metaphorical taste was left in my mouth. Keep penning Di and good luck
